Xiaomi announced the global release of Mi 11 Ultra takes a leap in smartphone camera technology with the world debut of the Samsung GN2 large camera sensor. The device goes a step further with a triple pro-grade rear camera array essentially consisting of only “main” cameras, once again pushing Xiaomi to the top of the DXOMARK, ranking Mi 11 Ultra as the world’s best photography smartphone. With a WQHD+ 120Hz quad-curved DotDisplay, 67W wired and wireless turbocharging and IP68 rating, Mi 11 Ultra offers a premium flagship experience taken to the extreme.

Mi 11 Ultra marks a major milestone in professional smartphone photography continuing the pioneering legacy of  Mi 10 Ultra. The pro-grade triple camera array features ultra-powerful hardware which combined with advanced software earned it the top spot in DXOMARK rating.

The device’s 50MP primary camera uses the largest smartphone camera sensor currently on the market, Samsung’s GN2. This high-end sensor jointly developed by Xiaomi and Samsung is the first to reach 1/1.12″ in size and is capable of producing staggering 4-in-1 2.8μm Super Pixels. Powered by Xiaomi’s very own enhanced night photography algorithm it is capable of effortlessly capturing bright and detailed images with as little as 0.02 lux of light. Mi 11 Ultra is also the first Xiaomi smartphone to adopt a multi-point direct Time-of-Flight laser focus system that features an accurate 64 zone depth map, allowing it to focus faster, more accurately and with a wider field of view.

Support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+ ensure utmost image quality. A 3200 x 1440 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate combine to create an ultra-smooth, fast and detailed display. Mi 11 Ultra is crafted with a premium ceramic back that lends a soft and comfortable feel in the palm of the hand and creates a gleaming, high-end look. The device is available in two stunning colours: Ceramic White and Ceramic Black.

Mi 11 Ultra offers IP68 dust and water resistance rating. In order to achieve the IP68 standards, Mi 11 Ultra uses a high permeability pressure relief valve. The ceramic back on Mi 11 Ultra has a smaller unidirectional bend radius, reduced from 0.2mm to 0.1mm. The device was tested for resistance to immersion in freshwater for up to 1.5m in depth for 30 minutes, and have added charging port moisture alerts.
