The TCL 20 Pro 5G, whose connectivity is based on the Snapdragon 750G processor exhibits a careful style and premium features. These are first appreciated by the design and matte finish of its rear, with a rather seductive gloss effect in which its two distinct parts influence. According to the light, the Marine Blue model goes from blue to green. The small aesthetic drawback lies in how marked the footprints remain, especially in the brightest part.
The rear highlight combines with the one that transmits its curved screen, a factor that favours the immersive experience, complemented by the suggestion that the content ‘falls’ a little on the sides. The slight shadows, inevitable by the embossing, are forgiven.

The AMOLED-quality panel reaches 6.67 inches and features FHD+ resolution. NXTVision technology, a distinctive aspect of the brand and a reflection of your screen experience, elevates the visual experience and, in the field of image optimization, improves contrast, sharpness and shadow details. For videos and games, it enhances colour, contrast, and depth of detail. It may seem like a simple claim, but the nuances are noticed.
The phone weighs 190 grams and when you pick it up comfort is imposed, the frames, symmetrical up and down, are thinner on the sides due to curvature. On the right are the volume control and the power and lock button (the fingerprint sensor is integrated into the screen). The SIM and microSD compartment is located below and the classic 3.5mm headphone jack is upstairs.
On the left side is the so-called SmartKey, designed to serve as a shortcut with functions customized according to the type of press (once, two and long). It is convenient for example to quickly enable/disable NXTVision optimization.
However, the Edge bar enabled on the screen, with a similar intent, involves less utility.
Cameras without module
If the TCL 10 Pro sported an eye-catching horizontal module, the TCL 20 Pro 5G opts horizontally and removes the module by embedding the sensors in the rear itself, a line that refers, with its differences, to what Samsung did with the Galaxy A32.
Displays four cameras. Compared to the 64 MP of the previous model, the main one stays at 48 MP (Sony IMX582), although it incorporates optical image stabilization (it also has EIS). It is accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle of 16 MP (123 degrees), a macro of 5 MP and a depth of 2 MP. On the front, the selfie chamber, perforated at the top centre, offers 32 MP.

With the TCL 20 Pro sold in a 6 GB + 256 GB configuration, twice as much internal storage compared to the previous generation (TCL 10 Pro). It envisages increasing capacity via microSD up to 1 TB. It comes with Android 11 according to version 3 of the TCL UI own layer, with interesting customization.
