Following the resounding success of its debut edition, Motorola and Euroleague Basketball have announced the return of Bouncing for Good — a heart-led community initiative designed to empower children across Europe through sport, education, and technology.
Developed in collaboration with EuroLeague Basketball’s One Team program, Bouncing for Good bridges basketball and social impact to promote inclusion, creativity, and healthy living among children from vulnerable communities. The initiative proved a standout success in its debut season, reaching over 500 young participants. Now, in its second year, it’s growing even further — expanding to more clubs, cities, and community partners across Europe.

A Shared Mission: Tech Meets Team Spirit
At its core, Bouncing for Good combines the power of sport and innovation to create safe, inclusive spaces where young people can learn, play, and connect. Each participating EuroLeague club partners with a local school or social organisation to co-design activities tailored to their community’s unique needs.

The program is split into two main segments:
-
Morning workshops focusing on education and values-based learning through interactive basketball exercises.
-
Afternoon events featuring donation ceremonies where each child receives a basketball and team memorabilia — a lasting symbol of encouragement and achievement.
Motorola’s technology plays an integral role in bringing these experiences to life. From QR-code challenges and team quizzes to digital creativity exercises, the tech acts as a bridge between play and learning, reinforcing teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Inspiring Confidence Through Play and Technology
Children aged 8 to 12 take part in engaging workshops led by One Team coaches, combining basketball drills with activities that highlight respect, perseverance, and collaboration. With Motorola’s tech tools on hand, participants dive into creative exercises such as memory games and team-based challenges that encourage them to think critically while having fun.
A highlight of the workshop is the Perfect Ball project — a collaborative mural where children visually express what they’ve learned throughout the day. Later, this concept is brought to life by a local artist who hand-paints an actual basketball inspired by the mural. The Perfect Ball is then presented during an official EuroLeague game, celebrating the community’s involvement and creativity on a larger stage.

Role Models on the Court
The initiative also brings professional EuroLeague players face-to-face with the next generation, emphasising mentorship and connection. Athletes donate their time and energy, helping children see what’s possible when passion meets perseverance.

Last season’s event in Greece saw Juancho Hernangómez, current EuroLeague star, share his appreciation for the program:
“It’s an honor to be part of the One Team-Motorola ‘Bouncing for Good’ initiative and to share these special moments with the children. Basketball has given me so much, and being able to give back — whether through a simple gesture like donating a basketball or spending time with them on the court — means a lot to me. I truly believe in the power of sport to inspire and unite, and I’m grateful to be involved in this meaningful program.”
This human connection — between professional athletes and young fans — is one of the most powerful aspects of Bouncing for Good. It transforms a simple game into a shared language of empathy and aspiration.
Tech for Inclusion: Motorola’s Ongoing Commitment
While Bouncing for Good thrives on teamwork and sport, its backbone lies in Motorola’s belief in purposeful technology — using innovation not just for convenience, but for positive social change.
“We’re thrilled to bring back Bouncing for Good for a second season after such a powerful and inspiring first year,” said Daniela Idi, EMEA Marketing Director at Motorola. “This program goes far beyond basketball — it’s about connection, learning, and giving every child the chance to dream bigger. Through our partnership with EuroLeague and One Team, we’re able to use technology as a bridge to inclusion, creativity, and education. Reaching even more communities across EMEA this year reinforces our belief that when technology and purpose come together, we can truly make a difference that lasts.”
This philosophy aligns perfectly with Motorola’s broader brand mission — to make smarter technology accessible and meaningful to everyone. Whether through its innovative smartphones, AI-powered camera systems, or sustainability initiatives, the company continues to prove that tech can be both functional and transformative.

Building Bridges Beyond the Court
For EuroLeague Basketball, the initiative represents another stride toward social inclusion and community engagement. Gawain Davies, Chief Commercial Officer at EuroLeague Basketball, emphasises that the sport’s impact extends well beyond competition:
“At EuroLeague Basketball, we believe that the power of sport extends far beyond the court. Through Bouncing for Good and our One Team program, we’re proud to work alongside Motorola and our clubs to inspire the next generation, promote inclusion, and create meaningful change in our communities. I would also like to thank Motorola for their continued commitment and belief in the positive impact that basketball can have.”
With this shared vision, the partnership reinforces the idea that corporate responsibility and community empowerment can — and should — go hand in hand.
Season 2 Tips Off in Serbia
The new season officially launches on 3rd November at Kralj Aleksandar I School in Belgrade, Serbia, featuring players from both Crvena Zvezda and Partizan — two of the country’s most renowned basketball clubs. This opening event marks the beginning of a multi-city journey that will continue across Europe over the coming months.
Each stop will follow the same engaging format: learning, teamwork, art, and celebration — all driven by the shared mission to empower young people through basketball and technology.
A Ripple Effect of Hope and Innovation
As Bouncing for Good enters its second season, the partnership between Motorola and EuroLeague Basketball stands as a compelling example of what happens when innovation is guided by empathy. It’s not just about smartphones or sports; it’s about connection, creativity, and giving children the confidence to see themselves as part of something bigger.
In a digital world where technology often feels isolating, Motorola’s involvement shows how tech can be repurposed to bring people together, spark imagination, and foster inclusion — values that resonate on and off the court.
By combining basketball’s universal appeal with purposeful tech, Bouncing for Good continues to bounce its message across Europe: that every child deserves a chance to play, learn, and dream without limits.
