Homey has officially launched the Homey Pro mini, a compact, lower-cost version of its flagship Homey Pro smart home hub — now available worldwide. Designed to bring advanced automation to more households, the Pro mini delivers the same core intelligence as its bigger sibling at a more accessible €249 price point.

Despite its size, the Homey Pro mini maintains the platform’s hallmark strengths: local processing, wide protocol support, privacy-first controls, and compatibility with more than 1,000 smart home brands. The device can be purchased today via homey.app, with broader retail rollout to follow.

At the heart of the Homey Pro mini is Homey Pro OS, the same operating system powering the full Homey Pro. This ensures users get the full suite of Homey’s advanced features, including:

According to Homey, the average Homey Pro setup runs around 14 apps, meaning the Pro mini easily covers the needs of most households. Those requiring serious scale can still opt for the full Homey Pro, which supports more than 60 apps and includes additional radio hardware.
