At CES 2026, Reolink reinforced its position as a leader in intelligent visual technology by unveiling a major expansion of its AI-powered security ecosystem. The company introduced new on-device AI innovations designed to deliver faster performance, stronger privacy, and smarter threat detection for both homes and businesses.

Headlining the announcements are the debut of the Reolink AI Box, a standalone local AI hub, and the launch of the OMVI Series, a new generation of triple-lens security cameras led by the award-winning OMVI X16 PoE, a CES 2026 Innovation Awards Honoree. Reolink also previewed additional power-efficient and solar-powered security products scheduled to roll out later this year.

Reolink AI Box: On-Device AI That’s Faster, Smarter, and Private

The new Reolink AI Box represents a major shift toward fully local AI processing. Powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing Q8 Series, the AI Box handles detection, analysis, search, and summarisation entirely on-device. By eliminating reliance on cloud processing, Reolink delivers faster response times, improved reliability, and enhanced user privacy—without recurring cloud delays or data exposure risks.

Designed as a central AI hub, the Reolink AI Box connects seamlessly with most Reolink cameras (excluding 4G models), home hubs, and NVRs through a simple plug-and-play setup. It brings Reolink’s latest ReoNeura AI capabilities to existing non-AI devices, significantly extending their lifespan and functionality.

Key AI features enabled by the Reolink AI Box include:

  • Prompt-Based Alerts
Users can create intelligent alerts using natural language prompts such as “a man climbing a fence” or “trash bin in backyard is full.” The system automatically generates detection logic based on user intent, recognising actions and contextual behaviour to deliver precise, environment-aware notifications for both residential and commercial use.

  • Event Description with Security Levels
Instead of raw video clips, the AI Box translates footage into clear, human-readable insights. It identifies people, objects, actions, and context, while assigning security levels from L1 (normal activity) to L4 (high concern)—helping users prioritise what truly requires attention.

The AI Box also enhances Local AI Video Search+ with higher detection accuracy and introduces Smart Summary, which compiles AI-analysed events into easy-to-understand visual overviews for faster review.

CES Award-Winning OMVI Series: Triple-Lens Coverage Without Compromise

To deliver full-area coverage with unmatched image clarity, Reolink introduced the OMVI Series, a new lineup of triple-lens security cameras. The series includes the flagship 24 MP OMVI X16 PoE, alongside the 18 MP OMVI 3i models available in both Wi-Fi and PoE configurations.

CES 2026 Innovation Awards Honoree

The Reolink OMVI X16 PoE, recognised as a CES 2026 Innovation Awards Honoree, features an advanced 24 MP triple-lens system. This includes a 16 MP dual-lens panoramic camera providing a seamless 180° ultra-wide view, paired with an 8 MP pan-tilt lens offering up to 16× optical zoom.

A sophisticated triple-motor design enables:

  • 0–22° motorised tilt for the upper panoramic lenses

  • 360° high-speed endless horizontal panning

  • 140° vertical rotation for the PTZ unit

This hardware setup allows the camera to cover vast areas while maintaining sharp detail on moving subjects.

Smart Tracking That Sees Everything

One of the standout features of the OMVI Series is Synchronised Smart Tracking. When the panoramic camera detects motion, the PTZ lens instantly locks onto the subject, tracking it with a zoomed-in, high-detail close-up—even beyond the panoramic field of view—until the target exits the monitored area.

Users can view both the panoramic and PTZ perspectives simultaneously within the Reolink App or PC Client, providing situational awareness without missing critical details.

Additional controls enhance proactive monitoring:

  • Tap any point within the panoramic view to instantly redirect the PTZ lens for a closer look

  • Set custom auto-patrol routes

  • Trigger one-tap scans for early threat detection

New Power-Efficient Battery Series with Qualcomm Technology

Reolink Power Efficient Series

In partnership with Qualcomm, Reolink also introduced a new lineup of battery-powered doorbells and cameras designed for efficiency, affordability, and ease of use. Powered by the Qualcomm Micro-Power Wi-Fi QCC730 chip, these devices deliver exceptional energy efficiency—offering up to 96% longer battery life compared to industry standards.

This new series combines compact hardware design with long-lasting performance, making it ideal for users seeking reliable, wire-free home security with minimal maintenance.

Solar Floodlight Camera: Wire-Free Outdoor Security

Expanding its outdoor lineup, Reolink unveiled a new Solar Floodlight Camera with a built-in solar panel.
