AWOL Vision has officially opened pre-orders for its much-hyped Aetherion Series, marking the debut of what it claims are the world’s first triple-laser ultra short throw (UST) projectors capable of delivering true 4K visuals at screen sizes of up to 200 inches.

Following a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign—where more than 7,000 backers helped raise nearly $18.7 million—the Aetherion lineup is now making its way to mainstream consumers. Early adopters can secure either the Aetherion Max or Aetherion Pro at discounted prices ahead of their full retail launch.

Pre-orders and pricing

Pre-orders run from 20th April through 14th May via Amazon and AWOL Vision’s official website, with savings of up to $2,500 available as part of limited-time bundles. The Aetherion Pro is set to launch in May, followed by the Aetherion Max in June.

Next-gen projection tech

The Aetherion Series introduces several notable innovations aimed at improving image quality and viewing comfort. Among them is Anti-RBE (rainbow effect) technology, designed to reduce colour artefacts by 99.99%, alongside AWOL’s PixelLock system, which synchronises pixels for sharper, more consistent edge-to-edge clarity.

On the performance side, the flagship Max model boasts a native contrast ratio of 6,000:1 and brightness exceeding 3,300 ISO lumens—positioning it as a serious contender in the premium home cinema space.

Bundle deals designed for home cinema

Rather than offering just the projector, AWOL is leaning heavily into bundled packages that simplify the home theatre setup process. Customers can place a $20 deposit to unlock an additional $150 discount, with further value coming from included projection screens and accessories.

Loyalty rewards for existing users

AWOL is also offering incentives for existing customers. Owners of the LTV-3000 and LTV-3500 projectors can receive an extra $150–$200 discount, provided they supply valid proof of purchase. These loyalty perks are separate from the deposit promotion and cannot be combined.
