Hisense has today announced an extensive new range, now on sale in the UK. The 2020 collection marks another step forward for Hisense, with a variety of cutting-edge technologies ensuring a unique viewing experience, across the breadth of TVs on offer.
Continuing its evolution in recent years, the brand’s latest offering features the best technology at Hisense’s competitive prices. 2020’s flagship model is the U8QF which now includes Quantum Dot Colour Technology, an Ultra HD Premium certified 4K Smart TV with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision included. The all-new model brings the viewer closer to reality with Quantum Dot Colour delivering over 1 billion true-to-life colours for smoother gradients and vivid reds, greens and blues, whilst Ultra HD Premium offers exceptional 4K clarity, with over 8 million pixels. Opting for a Direct-Lit Panel, it boasts Full Array Dimming Pro, which offers greater contrast and superior picture quality, while enjoying enriched colours and life-like images for a true home-cinema experience.
With the rare combination of HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG as standard, the U8QF brings incredible image clarity that is supplemented by a rich, immersive sound, delivered by Dolby Atmos through a built-in front-firing speaker specially tuned by JBL, to make the U8QF even more special
The icing on the cake for the 2020 collection is Hisense’s latest Smart TV OS, VIDAA U4. Personalised, intuitive, and smart, VIDAA U4 allows the viewer to access all of their favourite entertainment from the likes of Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Rakuten TV and Freeview Play but presented in an all-new Launcher view. Fully customisable, the new Home design allows you to view and access a wide number of apps and smart services easily in a linear layout. Discovering new content is made effortless with content previews tailored to viewing habits. Simply highlight selected apps to view recommended shows or movies without the need to open the app.
The U7QF model is a great option at a slightly lower price point. Available in 65”, 55” and 50”, Hisense’s U7Q ULED 4K HDR Smart TV comes complete with Quantum Dot Colour offering over 1 billion shades of vivid colour; Dolby Atmos providing powerful, moving audio which flows all around the viewer – even overhead –supporting all the latest HDR formats of HDR 10+, Dolby Vision and HLG to deliver brighter, more detailed scenes with enhanced contrast levels.
Like the U8QF, it also uses a Direct-Lit LED panel and offers Full Array Local Dimming for boosted contrast levels and enhanced performance in the darkest and brightest scenes. The U7QF also features the VIDAA U4 OS, and with Amazon Alexa built-in, you just need to ask, and Alexa will do the rest!
Over the last few years, Hisense’s mid-range TVs have become firm favourites for great performance and value for money, and the 2020 offering lives up to the billing. The Hisense A7500F and AE7400F bring 4K HDR and Dolby Vision to a range of screen sizes. Viewers will never miss a word with DTS Virtual: X, which automatically recognises dialogue and separates it from background noise for a clearer audio experience. Wide colour gamut places a broader range of shades on display, creating a vivid yet natural viewing experience which reproduces a wider range of colour that is truer to reality.
The A7500F which is available in 43” and 50” also has an immersive sports mode that automatically adjusts picture and audio settings when viewing sports, reducing motion blur with MEMC technology for the viewer to see every net-breaking goal in ultimate clarity. Plus, Game Mode boosts your chances of winning with input lag less than 20ms, ensuring your quick reaction times can be replicated on screen.
Completing the 2020 range at entry level are the A7300F and A7100F. The A7300F is available in a wide range of screen sizes; 43”, 50”, 55” and 65”, while the A7100F is also available in 58”, 70” and 75”. Offering fantastic value for money both TVs feature 4K Ultra HD Resolution, with UHD AI Upscaling, Sports Mode, Alexa built-in and Bluetooth connectivity. Whilst the near bezel-less design ensures both models achieve an almost edge-to-edge display, offering a more natural, immersive viewing experience.
