OnePlus has announced that it will unveil two new devices in Milan on 16th July: the OnePlus Nord 4 and OnePlus Pad 2. Both devices will feature a comprehensive suite of AI software and tools designed to maximize the benefits of artificial intelligence for users.

The OnePlus Nord 4, the latest addition to the successful OnePlus Nord lineup and the only metal unibody phone in the 5G era, is set to lead the way in AI integration. Alongside the new OnePlus Pad 2, the company’s flagship tablet, the Nord 4 will offer AI tools that enhance photography, boost productivity, and transform daily tech usage.

AI for Creativity

Earlier this year, OnePlus introduced AI tools like AI Eraser and Smart Cutout, which remove unwanted people and items from images. These will be joined by new tools such as AI Best Face and AI Clear Face. These upcoming features are designed to improve photos that didn’t turn out as planned. For instance, AI Best Face can fix group selfies where someone has their eyes closed, while AI Clear Face enhances photo clarity. Both the OnePlus Nord 4 and OnePlus Pad 2 will be equipped to perfect those nearly ideal shots.

AI for Productivity

Beyond photography, the OnePlus Nord 4 and OnePlus Pad 2 will include tools to boost work productivity. Later this year, features like AI Speak and AI Summarize will help users share information from various websites and apps. Additionally, AI Writer will compose long messages from short prompts, allowing users to focus on important tasks. Both devices will also gain the Recording Summary feature, which converts hour-long meeting recordings into concise written summaries in seconds, along with a transcript.

AI for Everyday Life

OnePlus integrates AI deeply within its OxygenOS. OxygenOS 14, which will be available on both devices, incorporates machine learning into the RAM, storage, CPU, and battery management systems.

Both devices also include OnePlus’s self-developed Trinity Engine, which ensures optimal performance by monitoring and optimizing the CPU, RAM, and ROM. It’s akin to having an AI librarian for memory organization and an AI personal trainer for the processor, ensuring high performance without stress.

The OnePlus Nord 4 will also feature a Battery Health Engine, which uses AI to maintain battery health. This engine analyzes power input and charging times, allowing the Nord 4’s battery to endure over 1,600 charging cycles, retaining more than 80% of its capacity for over four years—three times the longevity found elsewhere.

OnePlus Summer Launch Event

The final details of the OnePlus Nord 4 and OnePlus Pad 2 will be revealed at the Summer Launch event in Milan, Italy, on 16th July. OnePlus will also unveil the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro and the OnePlus Watch 2R. The event will be streamed live on OnePlus’s YouTube channel.
