Smart home brand GoveeLife has announced the launch of its latest kitchen appliance, the Smart Countertop Ice Maker 2 Pro (Amazon / GoveeLife), a feature-rich bullet ice maker designed to deliver faster ice production, higher output, and more convenient day-to-day operation.
Built for everything from iced coffee enthusiasts to summer entertaining and home bar setups, the Ice Maker 2 Pro combines rapid performance, intelligent automation, and improved ice retention in a compact countertop design tailored for modern kitchens.
One of the standout features is its speed. The unit can produce its first batch of ice in as little as three minutes, making it ideal for users who want cold drinks on demand without the usual wait. This is powered by GoveeLife’s patented Pre-cooling Management System, which chills water to 41°F before each cycle. By reducing the temperature gap that typically slows ice formation, the system enables faster and more efficient ice production from the outset.
Consistency is another key focus. The appliance uses a Dynamic Timing Algorithm that continuously monitors water and ambient temperature, adjusting each cycle in real time. This helps maintain uniform ice size, shape, and density, while minimising thin or irregular cubes that melt quickly. The result is well-formed bullet ice that cools drinks effectively while preserving flavour by reducing dilution.
For households and gatherings, the Ice Maker 2 Pro offers impressive output, capable of producing up to 47 pounds of ice per day—enough for around 120 servings of 16-ounce drinks. Its dual-tank system, comprising a 1.14-gallon side tank and a 0.42-gallon internal reservoir, supports up to six hours of continuous operation from a single fill, generating approximately 13 pounds of ice in that time.
Flexibility is built in, with three selectable ice sizes to suit different needs. Smaller ice is ideal for espresso-based drinks and iced coffee, medium works well for everyday hydration, and larger cubes are suited for cocktails or slower-sipping beverages.
GoveeLife has also focused on reducing day-to-day hassle. A high-density foam-insulated ice basket helps retain ice for longer, limiting melt loss to less than 2.2% in the first hour. This means fewer interruptions to restart production and a more consistent supply of ice throughout the day.
Smart features further enhance usability. Through the Govee Home app, users can remotely start or schedule ice production, initiate self-cleaning cycles, monitor real-time status, and view production data. Integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant adds voice control, allowing for hands-free operation in busy kitchens.
Designed with durability in mind, the Ice Maker 2 Pro includes a three-year warranty, a stainless steel evaporator without coating, and food-grade materials for all water and ice contact surfaces. An automated self-cleaning function also helps simplify maintenance over time.
The GoveeLife Smart Countertop Ice Maker 2 Pro will be available from 8th June 2026 via Amazon and the official GoveeLife website, priced at $349.99.
