Samsung just took product unboxing to a whole new level—literally. To flex the diving credentials of the new Galaxy Watch Ultra2, the tech giant partnered with PADI AmbassaDiver Gio Prince and Cornwall-based underwater filmmaker Adam Radage for an underwater unboxing filmed entirely beneath the surface for Instagram and TikTok.

The campaign highlights a growing trend: wearables are evolving beyond basic step counts and daily health metrics to support extreme adventures.

With an IP69K rating, 10ATM water resistance, and EN13319 certification, the Ultra2 isn’t just splash-proof—it’s officially dive-ready. The moment you submerge, it automatically starts tracking real-time dive data, including depth, elapsed time, and water temperature.

To top it off, Samsung is partnering with premier dive-gear brand Mares to launch the exclusive Ultra2 Diving app. Arriving in the UK later this year, the app will bring pro-level diving tools like ascent/descent rate monitoring and decompression guidance straight to your wrist.
