TCL has just introduced their newest brand ambassador, Paralympian swimmer Brock Whiston. After qualifying in May, the 27-year-old athlete will compete in the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.

A true pioneer of Inspiring Greatness, Brock was diagnosed with left-sided hemiplegia at the age of 17 and has transcended barriers, redefining the limits of her achievements. She began swimming as a form of therapy and adapted her techniques to make the most of her strengths. This has led her to win six gold medals and become a world champion. In addition to her swimming career, Brock dedicates time to her community, working as a teaching assistant for children with additional needs at a primary school in Barking and Dagenham.

Since 2020, TCL has been a proud partner of Performance Plus Sport (PPS), a charity that provides opportunities and funding for young athletes like Brock. Through TCL’s support, Brock will be able to cover competition fees, transport, accommodation, performance costumes, and recovery sessions leading up to the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.

“I’m super excited to be joining the TCL family,” said GB Para-swimmer Brock Whiston. “Their support has helped empower myself and other young athletes to strive for greatness and achieve our dreams. I’m really looking forward to representing TCL as their newest brand ambassador.”

After years of support through the PPS programme, TCL is proud to have Brock Whiston as a brand ambassador, supporting her journey as she aims to continue her world record streak in the Paralympics.

“We are proud to welcome GB Para-swimmer Brock Whiston as our newest brand ambassador,” said William Paterson, UK & Ireland Country Director at TCL. “Brock’s inspiring journey, resilience, and dedication to both her sport and community perfectly align with our values at TCL. We are excited to support her as she prepares for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, and we look forward to achieving great things together.”

“We are so grateful to TCL for their support over the last four years. Together, we have been able to provide essential funding and mentoring to young athletes who deserve every opportunity they get. Brock’s dedication is exceptional. The way she carries herself and gives back to her community is inspirational,” explains Jamie Feaver, Director at Performance Plus Sport UK.
