The performance cores (P-cores) maximise single-threaded performance and energy-efficient cores – the P-cores control the heavy-duty tasks, like real-time rendering and video clipping; and the efficiency cores (E-cores) provide scalable multi-threaded performance and efficient background task offloading when multi-tasking. Equipped with a 2MP 1080p camera at the top of the screen, and an 88° wide-angle, dual microphones, Smart Conference has created an immersive, safe, and efficient conference experience that adapts to complex environments.

AI Camera’s Virtual background mode can let you upload your favourite images as the virtual background. Through the Eye Contact mode, eye contact is maximised for all angles, allowing both parties to communicate and concentrate during the video conference, just like face-to-face communication. FollowCam mode also enables you to be always shown in the centre of the video, improving the meeting’s attentiveness, as well as your professional image.

The AI noise reduction algorithms, one of the underlying technologies of AI Sound, can reduce your background noise on a call when Sound TrueVoice is on, while Personal Voice Enhancement helps you hear the speaker’s voice only; and Sound TrueHD helps to capture the details of your voices to ensure they are clear and loud.

HUAWEI AppGallery offers a wealth of Apps

HUAWEI MateBook adds system-level compatibility for mobile apps. Users can search for a wide range of mobile apps, including education, information, games, productivity and learning apps, through HUAWEI AppGallery. With just one click, users can install mobile apps and games on the laptop; and can also have two active apps running at the same time.

Smart experience to enhance cross-device collaborations

Super Device takes the HUAWEI MateBook 16s to a whole new level of multi-device collaboration. By simply bringing any of Huawei devices, such as earphones, mouse, keyboard, speakers, and printer, into close proximity of the HUAWEI MateBook 16s, the laptop with automatically discover them and provide a prompt that will allow you to pair the products quickly and easily.

For example, when you have connected your HUAWEI smartphone, you will be able to see its UI on your laptop screen and operate the two devices as one. It also allows you to access and edit files, manage up to three phone app windows at the same time, take video or audio calls through your MateBook, and even use the wirelessly connected mouse and keyboard to control your phone.

In Mirror Mode, the laptop screen and tablet will show the same content, with the tablet benefiting from the laptop’s power and performance, while the laptop can take advantage of the M-Pencil connected to the tablet, to make getting those fine details in your drawing easier than ever. In Extend Mode, the tablet serves as a second screen, so you can scroll, browse and collaborate across multiple screens – perfect for working in spreadsheets and for making notes during meetings. Collaborate Mode lets you share content between the MateBook and tablet via a simple drag and drop for an effortless transfer.

The HUAWEI MateBook 16s can also connect to a HUAWEI MateView monitor. With 4K+ resolution and a more than the 28-inch screen, the collaboration between laptop and monitors will allow you to see more details of your work than before. Alongside the Huawei Cast+ protocol that requires a six-digit PIN, it is easy to keep data secure while benefiting from the large screen.
