Hohem just made a serious move into standalone imaging at IFA 2026, unveiling the Hohem Eyepic alongside an expanded lineup of creator hardware. Positioned as a modular 2-in-1 pocket gimbal camera, the Eyepic takes direct aim at mobile-first creators by combining stabilised handheld shooting with wearable perspectives and physical-sensor 4K vertical video.

Hohem Eyepic: A Modular, Native 9:16 Pocket Camera

Rather than forcing creators to choose between a stabilised stick like the DJI Osmo Pocket or a wearable clip-on like the Insta360 GO series, the Eyepic functions as both.

• Detachable 2-in-1 Build: The camera unit uncouples from the 3-axis gimbal handle to serve as an ultralight wearable camera. It supports lanyard and hat-clip mounts, sticks to magnetic surfaces, and features native 10 m (32.8 ft) waterproofing without an external housing.

• Remote Live View: Once detached, the gimbal base automatically locks down and functions as a wireless remote. Its 2.51-inch touchscreen provides full camera control and a 1080p live preview from up to 10 m away.

• True Native 4K Vertical Video: Instead of relying on digital crops that sacrifice sensor resolution, turning the touchscreen one-handed physically reorients the camera module. It captures native portrait video at up to 4K/60fps (2160 × 3840), delivering full-resolution footage ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

New Mobile Gimbals: Native Apple DockKit Support

Hohem also introduced two smartphone stabilisers built to simplify tracking across iOS apps:

• iSteady V4 Ultra: Flagship mobile stabiliser featuring a detachable touchscreen remote with live preview, proprietary Frame-to-Track subject tracking, and native Apple DockKit integration inside the default iPhone Camera app.

• iSteady X4: A compact alternative offering native DockKit tracking, an integrated touch-control panel, and a 360-degree infinite pan axis for sweeping panoramic shots.

Hohem Mic 2: 4-Channel Wireless Audio

Designed for panels, interviews, and multi-host vlogs, the Hohem Mic 2 pairs a single receiver with up to four transmitters simultaneously:

• Ultra-Light Form Factor: Each transmitter weighs just 7.7g.

• Audio Specs: 48kHz/24-bit recording with adaptive AI noise cancellation.

• Wireless Range: Stable transmission up to 300 m (984 ft) in crowded RF environments.

Hohem has not yet announced official retail pricing or finalised hardware configurations across the new lineup. The Eyepic is slated to launch in Q1 2027, with detailed specs and release dates rolling out closer to release.
