Elevated photography with 48MP main camera

The Reno Z features a dual-camera setup at the back carrying a 48MP primary sensor and 5MP depth sensor. The 48MP camera features a 1/2-inch Sony IMX586 sensor, an F1.7 aperture, and 6P lens, which makes it easy for anyone to capture the day and night shots. The all-new Ultra Night Mode 2.0 elevates the clarity and brightness of images through composite multi-frame noise reduction and multi-frame HDR technology. This allows the Reno Z to process faces and backgrounds separately to optimise skin-tone effects.

Capture every detail for the perfect portrait using the rear camera and selfie mode: The enhanced front camera packs an impressive 32MP sensor, an F2.0 aperture and 5P lens. With a standard 80-degree wide-angle, Reno Z can easily help you take wider selfies – and the 32MP selfie camera also supports OPPO Portrait Mode 2.0 for added quality.

Concealment and symmetrical design

The Reno Z comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ AMOLED Waterdrop Screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 92%. In addition, the Reno Z features an in-display Hidden Fingerprint Unlock with new lighting system and AI fingerprint image recognition algorithm. the fingerprint-unlocking success rate has been improved by 20-30% compared to the previous generation.

For the back design, the Reno Z has focused on symmetry, aligning multiple elements on the vertical axis, including rear cameras and text. The rear cameras are also located beneath the bulge-free back panel.

Powerful performance

The Reno Z is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P90 12nm processor and is equipped with a 4GB LPDDR4x system memory, with up to 128GB UFS 2.1 Flash storage memory to offer more storage space for users. Reno Z is supported with a 4,035mAh battery and VOOC 3.0, complete with a new charging algorithm to shorten the charging process.

The hardware also means smooth gaming experience, made possible by GameBoost 2.0 game optimisation that includes both FrameBoost and TouchBoost. FrameBoost predicts the reduction of frames in advance to free up any jams to further enhance gameplay performance. TouchBoost dramatically increases the response speed of the touchscreen, reducing touch retardation. In addition, the OPPO Reno Z also features Game Space (Gaming Assistant), preventing users from being disturbed by other applications, offering a more immersive gaming experience.

ColorOS 6 features a brand-new borderless design

In terms of its operating system, The Reno Z also features the new ColorOS 6, utilising a borderless design language to create a sense of space by optimising the UI layout and removing redundant segmentation lines. The system uses lightweight, elegant, and progressive colours to make shading more natural. The new fonts and animation allow ColorOS 6 to provide consumers with an even more immersive experience on a full-screen phone.
