Xiaomi just had a new Ecosystem launch for new products for the UK, with the likes of the Mi Smart Band 5, Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 and Mi Electric Scooter 1S and more.
Mi Smart Band 5
Xiaomi will announce a brand new addition to its popular smart band lineup – Mi Smart Band 5 – in the UK. Revamped with a 1.1’’ high-resolution AMOLED display, Mi Smart Band 5 is made more convenient and stylish than ever before. Offering extra viewing space, Mi Smart Band 5 not only displays more real-time stats but also allows users to personalize the band display with more than 65 theme options and customizable function modules. With an optimized PPG sensor, Mi Smart Band 5 now features more accurate heart rate tracking for 11 exercise types, including rowing, yoga, elliptical, jump rope and more. It also comes with a list of new features, spanning stress level detection, breathing exercises, female health-tracking, PAI health matrix, and more. Charging the device is also made simpler with a new magnetic charger that snaps easily onto the back of the band, eliminating the need to remove the strap to charge. One full charge will support up to 14 days of battery life.
The Mi Smart Band 5 (39.99 Euros) will be available for purchase on mi.com/UK (from 16th July).
Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 and Mi Electric Scooter 1S
Xiaomi will launch it’s Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 and Mi Electric Scooter 1S in the UK. Built for every short commute, Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 can reach speeds of 25 km/h and cover distances of up to 45km on a single charge. Its 300W brushless DC motor provides the power to effortlessly climb 20% incline slopes, while a built-in LCD allows riders to monitor real-time speed, riding modes, battery level, and more at a glance. Equipped with 8.5-inch pneumatic tires, the vehicle withstands wear and tear, absorbs shocks from bumps in the road.
A dual braking system provides an extra level of security, while an added front, rear, and side reflector and powerful 2W headlight improve visibility to keep both the rider and other people on the road safe. Crafted from lightweight materials, this 14.2kg model can be folded up in less than three seconds, making it highly portable and easy to carry around.
The Mi Electric Scooter 1S variant can reach a maximum speed of 25km/h and travel up to 30km on a single charge. Its 250W brushless motor helps riders to climb up to 14% inclines effortlessly. Riders can drive with peace of mind thanks to the reliable double braking system and reinforced pneumatic tires. Weighing just 12.5kg, the scooter is light, agile, easy to fold and carry around.
Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic
Xiaomi will launch its Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic in the UK. Created for music buffs and always-on-a-call business people, Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic offers 5 hours of uninterrupted play from a full charge, with a total battery life of 20 hours from the 3 additional charges from its case. Equipped with dual-mic environmental noise cancellation technology, the earphones can filter background noise and ensure crystal clear sound quality for phone calls and music playback. Users can easily pause audio by removing one earphone thanks to the in-ear detection technology and can also pause or play music, pick up phone calls and access voice control by simply double-tapping the earphone. Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic support both SBC and AAC codecs, ensuring outstanding sound quality for both iOS and Android devices.
