UK Launch of the Huawei P50 Pro, GT Runner and MateBook 16 announced
Huawei is excited to announce the UK launch of its brand-new smartphone, the HUAWEI P50 Pro, its latest smartwatch, the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner, and its latest high-performance notebook, the HUAWEI MateBook 16.
The latest addition to the iconic P Series, the HUAWEI P50 Pro continues to push forward the Huawei photography brand, ushering in a new era of HUAWEI Image.
The HUAWEI P50 Pro (RRP £1099.99) will be available from the HUAWEI Store from 22nd March in Cocoa Gold and Golden Black. Customers who purchase it from the Huawei Store before 31st March will also receive a free gift, the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro & Silicon Phone Case, and can claim a 6-Month Free HUAWEI Music Premium Membership and a 6-Month Free HUAWEI Care of Accident Screen Damage Protection.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner features the new HUAWEI TruSeen 5.0+ heart rate monitoring technology, offering accurate dynamic heart rate and SpO2 monitoring to accompany every step of the runner. The industry’s first suspended hidden antenna and Dual-Band Five-System GNSS positioning to accurately monitor running trajectory and support accurate positioning.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner (RRP £259.99) will be available from the HUAWEI Store and selected retailers from 22nd March in Black and Grey. Customers who purchase from the Huawei Store before 30th March will receive a free gift, the HUAWEI FreeBuds 4i & Headphone Case.
HUAWEI MateBook 16 catalyses productivity and creative work. It not only embodies the signature traits of the product line by representing the best of aesthetic design, innovative and smart technology, but it also comes with an all-new pro-grade FullView Display. It also features a new multi-device collaboration feature, that will help today’s pros to bring their best ideas to life.
Inside the slim body, HUAWEI MateBook 16 is equipped with a 7nm AMD Ryzen 5000 Series mobile processor running at standard voltage to deliver extraordinary performance. Coupled with a high-speed solid state drive, the hardware inside HUAWEI MateBook 16 has everything that is needed to support typical office scenarios, such as office work, design and coding.
The all-new HUAWEI Shark fin fan cooling system is re-engineered for vastly improved performance. Comprising two pro-grade 75mm+ fans, hinge air inlet design and dual heat pipes, it ensures maximum performance while keeping noise low. Users can also flexibly switch between performance mode, which pushes the processor TDP to 54W to unleash the full power of the notebook, and balance mode for relatively better battery efficiency.
Even though the HUAWEI MateBook 16 is incredibly lightweight, it packs an 84Wh battery to offer all-day battery life. The notebook also comes with a versatile 135W power adapter for users to quickly charge up not only their notebook, but also Huawei smartphones that support HUAWEI SuperCharge.
Collaborate in creative work with smart connectivity
HUAWEI MateBook 16 supports PC-Smartphone Multi-screen Collaboration, which lets users project their smartphone’s screen onto the PC display with a single tap and control two devices at once on a single screen. Furthermore, the notebook can seamlessly work together with Huawei tablets, monitors and audio products to support users’ creative needs whether they’re working alone or collaborating with others.
For instance, Multi-screen Collaboration enables a HUAWEI MatePad Pro to function as a drawing pad for users’ spontaneous sketches or can be used as a second screen to host even more windows for effective multi-tasking. Collaborate Mode adds synergy to the duo, providing users with access to a range of shared capabilities for elevating their productivity to the next level.
HUAWEI MateBook 16 can also be connected to HUAWEI MateView, either with a cable or wirelessly. Together, the notebook and standalone monitor afford a much larger display area for work − perfect for everything from inspecting details on illustrations to making colour adjustments on scenic shots.
