Introducing HONOR’s Four-Layer AI Architecture
During the keynote, HONOR unveiled its Four-Layer AI Architecture, emphasizing its strategic focus on integrating AI into MagicOS. This architecture comprises distinct layers:
- Cross-device and Cross-OS AI: This foundational layer supports an open ecosystem, enabling the sharing of computing power and services among various devices and operating systems.
- Platform-level AI: Building upon this foundation, this layer enables a personalized operating system, facilitating intent-based human-computer interaction and tailored resource allocation.
- App-level AI: This layer introduces a new wave of generative AI applications designed to transform user experiences.
- Interface to Cloud-AI Services: The top layer provides users with seamless access to extensive cloud services while ensuring privacy protection, creating a comprehensive and forward-looking AI experience.
MagicOS 8.0 and the Industry-First Magic Portal
As part of MagicOS 8.0, Magic Portal stands out as the industry’s first intent-based UI. It understands user behavior and simplifies complex tasks into single-step processes. Magic Portal currently supports 100 top applications across seven scenarios: travel, productivity, messaging, search, entertainment, shopping, and social media. There are plans to further expand its usage scenarios, offering even more seamless and intelligent AI experiences in the future.
Integrating Gen-AI with Google Cloud
HONOR’s Four-Layer Architecture will integrate cutting-edge Gen-AI experiences, powered by Google Cloud, into its upcoming smartphones. This integration promises enhanced intelligence and innovation to users, coupled with robust privacy protection.
Revolutionizing the Portrait Experience with the HONOR 200 Series
Following the success of the AI Motion Sensing Capture feature, which uses AI to capture fast-moving actions automatically, HONOR announced that the upcoming HONOR 200 Series will elevate mobile photography with a new AI-enhanced Portrait experience.
The HONOR 200 Series is set to transform portrait photography by incorporating the expertise of Studio Harcourt, a renowned French photography studio famed for its classic portrait shots. By using AI to learn from an extensive dataset of Studio Harcourt portraits, the HONOR 200 Series replicates the studio’s legendary lighting and shadow effects. The entire portrait process has been broken down into nine distinct steps, ensuring studio-quality portraits with every shot.
Scheduled for launch in Paris on 12th June, the HONOR 200 Series will be powered by MagicOS 8.0, underscoring HONOR’s commitment to democratizing AI technology. To make AI more accessible, HONOR will also roll out MagicOS 8.0 to its HONOR Magic V2 and HONOR 90 devices, enabling more users to experience the transformative power of AI.
