
Humax today unveiled the MX7, its second-generation EV charger designed for both residential and business fleet markets in the UK. This V2G-ready charger offers advanced features for efficient and cost-effective EV charging.

- V2G-Ready Technology: Integrated Power Line Communication (PLC) module and ISO 15118 protocol enable bi-directional charging and seamless digital communication with EVs. Future Humax chargers will include this as standard.
- Intelligent Charging: Compatible with most EV tariffs for optimized electricity costs, and solar-compatible for greener charging using surplus home solar power. Smart scheduling and adjustable charge levels provide user control.
- Safety First: Features integrated temperature sensors, overcharge protection, and tamper detection for secure charging.
- Stylish and Customizable: Designed to complement modern homes with interchangeable front facias. Easy installation with a hinged front panel.
- Simplified Business Charging: Supports Auto Charge via ISO 15118, eliminating the need for RFID cards or apps. Vehicle recognition streamlines company car charging reimbursements. Integrates with leading third-party platforms.
- Comprehensive Support: Includes up to a five-year manufacturer’s warranty and access to a UK-based support center.
- Availability: Available in 7kW socket-type and tethered models (5m and 7m cables). OZEV is approved and compliant with UK regulations.
