Athom has officially brought native support for LEDVANCE SMART+ and OSRAM SMART+ lighting ranges to its Homey smart home ecosystem. Two dedicated, free apps—one for each brand—are now live in the Homey App Store, opening up broader automation options for millions of existing smart lighting products.

LEDVANCE, a global leader in lighting solutions, manufactures smart devices under its own brand and produces lamps and luminaires for the OSRAM Homelighting brand as an official licensee. Because both product lines exist independently in retail channels, Athom has introduced two separate apps to ensure seamless integration for each ecosystem.

Seamless Integration Across Zigbee and Matter

Many UK households already feature smart bulbs and plugs from LEDVANCE and OSRAM, though many remain isolated from broader smart home networks. The new integrations bring these devices directly into the Homey setup, signalling a clear push towards dual support for both traditional Zigbee and the emerging Matter standard.

The newly supported hardware lineup includes:

• Classic and candle-style LED bulbs

• PAR16 and P40 spotlights

• Flexible LED strips and tunable white ceiling panels

• Outdoor garden pole lighting

• Smart switches and plugs (including power-metering variants)

Once paired, users gain full control over power states, brightness, colour selection, and colour temperature via the main Homey app.

Enhanced Automation with Advanced Flow

For power users, these devices integrate fully with Homey Flow and Advanced Flow. This allows for customised automation routines—such as triggering lighting scenes based on motion or using live power consumption metrics from energy-monitoring plugs to kick off larger household flows.

• Homey Cloud & Homey Self-Hosted Server: Zigbee devices require a Homey Bridge connection; Matter-over-Thread devices require an active Thread Border Router on the network.
