Roborock is expanding well beyond standard vacuum pucks at IFA 2026, rolling out an ambitious hardware lineup that tackles everything from stair-climbing to underwater scrubbing.

Headlining the launch is the new Saros 20 series, but the wilder experimental hardware—like the wheel-legged Saros Rover and the brand’s first pool cleaner—shows Roborock is pushing hard to automate home maintenance across every plane imaginable.

Saros 20 Series: High Suction, Slim Profiles

Roborock’s updated flagship floor care comes in two models: the Saros 20 Flow Complete and the Saros 20 Neo. Both units carry an ECARF “Allergy Friendly” certification and pack some serious mechanical upgrades:

• 36,000 Pa HyperForce Suction: A massive power bump designed to tackle deep carpets and pet hair with zero hesitation.

• AdaptiLift Chassis 3.0: The robot can physically raise itself to clear double-layer door thresholds up to 8.8 cm high.

• RetractSense LiDAR: Retractable sensors allow the units to drop to a mere 7.95 cm in height, letting them crawl under low-slung sofas while preserving 3D mapping and obstacle avoidance (Reactive AI recognises over 300 objects).

• Heavy-Duty Mopping: The Neo applies 14N of downward pressure alongside a self-cleaning dock that washes mop heads with 100°C water, while the Flow Complete swaps in an active roller-mop assembly.

The Wild Cards: Stair Climbers and Pool Cleaners

Roborock didn’t stop at living room floors:

• Saros Rover: The standout concept at the booth, this bot uses a “wheel-leg” architecture with independently articulated limbs. It can raise, lower, hop, and—most notably—climb and clean individual stairs using 3D spatial data to bridge multi-level homes autonomously.

• RockAqua P1: Roborock’s first dedicated robotic pool cleaner. It features 6,800 GPH suction, dual-layer filtration (180 μm + 70 μm), and handles pool walls, floor surfaces, and waterlines down to 15 cm shallows. Run time sits at 3.5 hours, and it features an automatic waterline parking mode for painless retrieval.

Outdoor & Wet/Dry Handhelds

Rounding out the IFA showcase:

• RockNeo Q2: A wire-free, boundary-less robotic lawn mower relying on Sentisphere LiDAR and ReactiVision to edge within 3 cm on yards up to 800 m².

• F25 Series Handhelds: The F25 Ultra Steam Gen2 brings high-temp steam to wet/dry messes, while the F25 Pro Turbo Combo acts as a modular 5-in-1 convertible vac.

Pricing and Availability

• Roborock Saros 20 Neo: Launches in the UK on 4th September via Amazon and the Roborock Store for £999. Early birds can pick it up for £799 (including extra cleaning solution) between 7–20 September. Irish availability follows in October.

• Flow Complete, Saros Rover, and RockAqua P1: Pricing, regional releases, and final availability dates will roll out later this year.
