OnePlus today announced an online pop-up event for its community across Europe, which will go live on 14th April 2020, starting 1700 BST, after the launch keynote.
Bringing the same excitement of the global pop-up events which have become an OnePlus tradition, the online pop-up will allow the community across Europe to get their hands on the latest OnePlus smartphone before it goes up for open sale.
The OnePlus community globally has shown their love and enthusiasm for the previous launches by waiting in the queue for hours, just to be the first to experience the new device as well as interact with the OnePlus team and fellow community members.
Talking about the online pop-up, Tuomas Lampen, Head of Strategy, OnePlus Europe said, “The pop-up is an opportunity for us to engage with our community by creating a special experience around the latest launch. In the past, we have seen unwavering enthusiasm from our community for the pop-up events we have organised in cities like Paris, Helsinki, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, Brussels and so on.”
“As a digital-first brand, we want to bring the same pop-up experience to our community, but at the comfort of their home, keeping in mind their safety and wellbeing. The online pop-up will allow community members to be among the first to own the OnePlus 8 Series and also share their experience with the world.” he added.
As a part of the OnePlus Online Pop-up experience, users can visit the OnePlus official website and be the first to purchase and own the device of their choice from the OnePlus 8 series. The special pop-up box will be dispatched to the buyers on April 15th, which will include the device as well as OnePlus branded goodies. The pop-up boxes will be available in limited quantity across Europe and users can purchase on a first come first serve basis, similar to the offline pop-up experience.
